Obituary for Josephine A. Alioto

Formerly Mohs, (Nee Tarantino) God closed his arms around her and whispered “Come home, my child.” on March 10, 2018, at the age of 98 years. She is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, Santo Alioto Sr. and preceded in death by her first husband Merlin George Mohs. She is lovingly remembered by her step-children Adele (Dean) Montanye, Silvia (Ricardo) Ramos, Santo Jr. (Michelle), Angelo, Antonio and Annamaria Alioto; 21 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, 2 great great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by her parents, one brother and three sisters.

Visitation Friday, March 16 at ST. ALPHONSUS CATHOLIC CHURCH, 6060 W. Loomis Road, Greendale, from 11:00 AM to 12:15 PM with Mass of Christian Burial at 12:30 PM. Private family burial at Holy Cross Cemetery.

Josie’s family extends their heartfelt appreciation to the staffs at Tudor Oaks and Hometown Hospice for their loving kindness and support.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Tudor Oaks Senior Support Community.
